Listening To: I'm Not Yours - Angus and Julia Stone
Wise Words: "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone." - Audrey Hepburn
This December ‘Middle Earth’
will grace our screens again, as will many familiar faces. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first of three planned
films, serving as a prequel to The Lord
of the Rings Trilogy. You can watch the trailer below;
It was only confirmed last
Friday that the originally proposed two films have now become a trilogy, with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug due
out in December, 2013 and the final instalment, The Hobbit: There and Back Again in cinemas July 2014.
On top of
getting an additional film, fans will be pleased with the shorter gap between
the second and third films. Why the shorter gap? “We wanted to have a shorter gap between the second and
third films. Opening in July affords us not only the perfect summer tent pole,
but fans will have less time to wait for the finale of this epic
adventure," Warner Bros. president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman
said in a statement picked up by The Hollywood Reporter.
And one more
exciting tidbit for the road; the series has been extended to a trilogy as
director Peter Jackson is interested in using material from The Lord of the Rings book series
appendices. EEEEEEEEEEP!!
I am keen as a
bean,
Emily
